FAQ and Care Instructions

All ceramic designs are made with 100% organic decals, using less energy, which is significantly more environmentally-friendly than many other fired decal processes. Most of the china used are actually white porcelain china from Japan, unless otherwise specified. Decals are printed and decorated in Worcester/Boston, MA.

Recommended hand wash only.

Avoid long exposure to highly acidic sauces or dips, wash with a soft sponge or cloth to maintain the integrity of the decal for as long as possible.

QUESTION: Are these products dishwasher and/or microwave safe?

  • ANSWER: Yes, all of the products are technically safe for dishwasher and microwave, but hand-washing is highly recommended. The images can fade, just like a favorite t-shirt, so hand-washing will make the designs last for years to come.

QUESTION: Where can I buy these products?

  • ANSWER: For now, saucers are available in two retail locations: RISD| Works in Providence, RI and Gifted in Boston, MA.

QUESTION: I own my own store, how can I carry your product?

  • ANSWER: Please shoot me an e-mail at info@designbyzoe.com and I will send you a digital catalogue with up-to-date wholesale pricing and availability of products. I have a collection of suggested (and proven) retail prices that I will ship along with the product(s), as well as a small stack of business cards and care instruction cards.
QUESTION: Can I have a sample before buying?
  • ANSWER: Yes! Please just send me a e-mail with your store information (website, reviews, etc.) and the best mailing address. Some designs are in shorter supply, so slight delays can occur (but I’ll let you know if that’s the case).
